Aeolus 14 Umbra is an organization that attempted to sabotage the Jupiter program. Little information is given about this organization in the series—but it is implied that they are members of another nation that does not want America to succeed in their colonization effort. In the Innovation Lost in Space comics, it is revealed that Aeolus 14 Umbra is actually a group of Aeolians attempting to prevent Earth people from reaching Alpha Centauri.
