Serricchio was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the small town of Lanus Este. At the age of 12, he moved to Mexico City with his family where he attended elementary school and high school - and where he learned to speak English. During his time in Mexico, Ignacio competed nationally in martial arts tournaments and became a scuba diving instructor and certified rescue diver.
In 2000, his family moved to New York where he attended Syracuse University as a theater major. His sophomore year, his family moved yet again to Los Angeles, CA and he began to audition for film and television. He landed his first lead role in the movie STATES OF GRACE and soon became a regular cast member on the popular soap opera General Hospital, playing the part of “Diego Alcazer”.
Numerous film and television credits soon followed including a stand-out performance in the hit film THE WEDDING RINGER opposite Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, and Kaley Cuoco, and the series lead in Zoe Ever After opposite Brandi Glanville.
In addition to working in television and film and doing stand-up comedy, Ignacio has a passion for charity work and has been involved with such foundations as the Desi Geestman Foundation, which helps families affected by cancer.
He is fluent in five languages: Portuguese, Italian, French, English and Spanish. But five isn’t enough for him and he is now turning his attention to learning his sixth language!
Ignacio resides in Los Angeles with his beloved dog Hero.
