Kai is the older brother of Evan and Phil. Kai and Evan were members of the 24th Colonist Group, while Phil is living on Alpha Centauri with his wife, who Evan described as "horrible".
Childhood[]
According to Evan, it was pretty wild in their house when they were growing up, with the fridge always empty and the brothers having wrestling matches for the remote.
24th Mission[]
Kai and Evan were both selected for the 24th Mission and shared the same Jupiter. After they crashed on the Unknown planet, they were encountered by other surviving colonists of the 24th Mission. In Season 1, Episode 7 "Pressurized", Evan dies after he's crushed by the fuel tank and Judy and Don find Kai and tell him what happened.
