Space Pod
The Space Pod was a small spacecraft first shown in the third and final season of Lost in Space, and modeled on the Apollo Lunar Module, was used to travel from its bay in the Jupiter 2 to destinations either on land or in space. The pod had artificial gravity as well.
Various third season episodes had their plots catalyzed by Dr. Smith either intentionally or accidentally leaving the Jupiter 2 in the Space Pod or accidentally sending the robot out in the Space Pod.

- The hatch in the Jupiter 2 that was used to access the storage compartment containing the space suits in the first two seasons was changed to lead to the Space Pod in the third season.
