Victor Dhar

Victor Dhar is one of the new male characters in Netflix's 2018 television series Lost in Space. He's a politician who was elected as leader and representative of the Robinsons' group of colonists.

Biography[]

Victor is one of the survivors of a Jupiter crash-down encountered by the Robinson Party. Upon learning that they are alive, he quickly begins giving orders to Maureen.

Victor is a well groomed, educated and officious man with a sense of entitlement who has been a career builder and politician from a young age.

There is arrogance and impatience about Victor and this masks the underlying fear that he’ll one day be found out — that he isn't quite good enough.

John Robinson dislikes him and says he voted for the other guy. ("The Robinsons Were Here") He came to dislike Maureen Robinson, both for withholding information from him and for taking over affairs when his leadership proved less than capable. ("Trajectory") Despite the tension between them, the Robinsons were pleasantly surprised when he convinced the Resolute to return for them. ("Danger, Will Robinson")
